Consumer Protection Enforcement Initiative

• Over the next two years, DCA will implement a new Consumer Protection Enforcement Initiative to overhaul the enforcement and disciplinary processes of our healing arts Boards. The goal of this initiative is to reduce the average enforcement completion timeline for our healing arts boards from 36 months to between 12 and 18 months. Read about the initiative here.

The Department of Consumer Affairs retained a consultant to provide an independent verification and validation of the Budget Change Proposal prepared to support the implementation of the department's Consumer Protection Enforcement Initiative.
