Citation Orders
The California Board of Accountancy (CBA) may issue a Citation Order in lieu of filing an accusation against a licensee for violation of the Accountancy Act or CBA Regulations. These violations are typically administrative in nature. The citation may include an administrative fine, an order of abatement, or both. A Citation Order is not a disciplinary action. However, the failure of a licensee to comply with a citation shall constitute a ground for revocation or suspension of the license or permit.
This list contains Citation Orders issued since November 1, 2012 that are deemed a final order of the CBA.
