California Board of Registered Nursing Online Licensing (Time Frames)
Time Frames:
Allow up to 48 hours for the records to be transferred from the online licensing system into the Board's database. For security reasons it is not instantaneous, the user is not directly accessing the Department of Consumer Affairs database. The plastic card license should arrive within 2 weeks. Transaction may take longer if there is an address change or other unique issues.
Applicants:
The time to evaluate applications and issue a license varies depending on the timeliness of receiving all required documents from schools, other states, and the applicant. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing before contacting the board.
