Redondo Beach Physical Therapist Placed on Probation

LOS ANGELES – A Redondo Beach Physical Therapist has had his license placed on probation following his no contest plea on a charge of spousal battery.

Following the recommendation of an Administrative Law Judge in Los Angeles, the Physical Therapy Board of California revoked the license of Brian C. Parsons, PT, then stayed the revocation and placed Parsons’ license on probation for three years.

In 2010, Parsons was arrested following an altercation with his wife and later pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of spousal battery. He was sentenced to serve one day in jail, placed on three years’ criminal probation, ordered to perform community service and complete a one-year domestic violence program. His criminal probation ends in December 2013.

Parsons will be allowed to practice physical therapy while his license is on probation. His license probation becomes effective June 20, 2013.
