DCA Secure Forms Information

The DCA Secure Forms application (with file uploads enabled) provides a safe and seamless way to submit documents directly to a program. Please review the tips below to help ensure a smooth experience.

Mandatory Fields

Fields marked with a asterisk (*) are required. You must complete these fields before submitting your upload.

Accepted File Types

The allowed file types vary based on the specifc form. Most common file formats are accepted, including:

  • Documents: .pdf, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, .txt
  • Images: .jpg, .png, .gif, .bmp
  • Others: .csv, .json, .xml

Tip: If you encounter an error uploading a file, try compressing it into a .zip file and uploading the zipped version.

Note: Not all DCA Secure Forms (with uploads enabled) accept .zip files.

Internet Upload Speeds

Upload times depend on your internet provider's upload speed, which is often slower than download speed. For example:

  • A 100 MB file may take 1-5 minutes to upload on a typical home connection.
  • Large files or slower connections may take longer.
  • For larger files, you should see an upload progress message along with an estimated time to completion. Please keep the window open until the upload is fully complete.

Tip: If you're on a slow or unstable connection, consider uploading during off-peak hours or from a faster network.

Troubleshooting Upload Errors

If you experience issues:

  • Ensure your file type is supported.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Try zipping the file and uploading the .zip version (Not all DCA Secure Forms accept .zip files).
  • Refresh the page and try again.
