Let your license plate show your love of combat sports and support to retired fighters through the only pension fund of its kind in the world.

The California State Athletic Commission (CSAC) is proud to announce a specialty Combat Sports License Plate is now available to reserve. Proceeds from the plate will support boxers and mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters in their later years through the only pension fund in the world. The funds are administered by CSAC, a renowned leader in combat sports regulation, health and safety.

Retired and former fighters dedicate countless years to combat sports, showcasing passion and talent, while entertaining fans and inspiring future athletes. Increased support to the pension fund through specialty plate proceeds will increase pension payments going directly to fighters or their beneficiaries.

Anyone with a current California-registered vehicle — including cars, trucks, SUVs, trailers, motorcycles, and commercial vehicles — is eligible to reserve the plate. Once CSAC has received at least 7,500 paid orders within the next 12 months, CSAC will submit them to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). The DMV will then produce and distribute the Combat Sports License Plate. The DMV production process will take at least 10-12 months, and longer for personalized license plates.
