2025-26 CBA Campus Tour

The California Board of Accountancy (CBA) is proud to introduce the 2025-26 CBA Campus Tour! With changes coming to the licensure requirements, the CBA is ready to amplify the conversation about the qualifications for becoming a CPA.

Once Assembly Bill (AB) 1175 makes it through the legislative process, new educational and experience requirements would debut on January 1, 2027. These proposed updates aim to give students a clearer, more flexible path to CPA licensure. The CBA wants to ensure aspiring CPAs get their questions about AB 1175 answered directly by CBA members and staff! The goal of the Campus Tour is to equip students with important information to help them make informed choices as they navigate the path to licensure, while ensuring faculty have the resources to properly guide their students. For more information about the changes themselves, please visit our AB 1175 webpage.

To spread the word and answer those questions, the CBA is going on tour – virtually and in person – at colleges and universities across California. No matter where you are tuning in, the CBA Campus Tour is your backstage pass to understanding what’s changing, what it means for you, and how to plan your CPA journey!
